M'Hamed Bougara
of Boumerdès
Established in 1998 by executive decree no. 98-189, the University M'Hamed Bougara grew out of the merger of six national institutes founded between 1964 and 1987: INH, INELEC, INGM, INMC, INIM and INIA. It now offers programmes in nine LMD fields — science and technology, life and natural sciences, economics, management, law and languages — spread across five campuses in the wilaya of Boumerdès.
